Christian Briffa has a strong background in finance and audit. Christian started their career at PwC as an auditor from September 2007 to August 2011. Christian then moved to ASPIDER, where they held the position of Director of Finance in both Malta and the US from September 2011 to December 2018. Since December 2018, they have been working at KORE as the Director of Finance EU.

Christian Briffa completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with a focus in Management and Accounting at the University of Malta from 2002 to 2005. Christian then pursued further education at the Malta Institute of Management, earning a Diploma in VAT Compliance with a specialization in Indirect Taxation from 2011 to 2012. In 2005 to 2007, Christian returned to the University of Malta to obtain a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree. Christian also has certifications as a Certified Public Accountant and a Practicing Certificate in Auditing from the Accountancy Board, obtained in 2010. In 2022, Christian attended LEAD Training Services to earn a Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Funding. Additionally, they are scheduled to receive a FIFA Licensed Football Agent certification from FIFA in 2023.
