Louisa Salhi PhD has a diverse work experience. Louisa started as a Department Guide at the University of Reading in 2012 before becoming a Manager at the Whitstable Native Oyster Fishery Restaurant in 2014. In 2015, they transitioned to academic roles at the University of Kent, where they held various positions such as a Research Assistant, Associate Lecturer, Academic Outreach Ambassador, and Lecturer in Psychology. During this time, they also led Citizen Science research projects at the University of the Third Age. In 2021, Louisa joined Kooth Digital Health as a Research Associate and eventually became the Head of Research, leading a team focused on increasing access to mental health support through digital platforms.
Louisa Salhi PhD completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychology at the University of Reading from 2011 to 2014. Louisa then pursued an MSc in Cognitive Neuropsychology at the University of Kent from 2014 to 2016. Following this, they obtained an AFS certification from the Higher Education Academy in 2018. Louisa further continued their academic journey at the University of Kent, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cognitive Neuropsychology from 2016 to 2020. Louisa also obtained additional certifications in Data Protection (GDPR) and Diversity and Equality in 2019 from the University of Kent and Marshall E-learning Consultancy.
