Els Jennart has a diverse work experience in various companies in the apparel industry. Els started their career in 1996 as a Lab Technician at Estee Lauder. In 1997, they joined Levi Strauss & Co., where they worked as a Finishing Engineer for six years. In 2004, they continued their career at Levi Strauss & Co. as a Fabric and Finishing Manager and later became a Product Manager for Tops. From 2009 to 2012, they served as the Director of Technical Development at LSEMA and the Global Director of the Technical Team for Levi's Men's and Levi's XX. In 2013, they joined VF Jeanswear as a Senior Manager of Design and Development for Lee, and later became the Director of Design and Development. Els then moved to Kontoor Brands, Inc. in 2019, taking on the role of Director of Development for Lee and Wrangler. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Sustainability Engagement for EMEA and APAC at Kontoor Brands, Inc.
Els Jennart attended the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management in 2012, where they completed an Accelerated Management Program. In 2009, they also attended the Supply Chain Academy to study Supply Chain Management. Their highest level of education is a Master's degree from Hogeschool Gent- CTL, which they obtained between 1992 and 1996. Their Master's degree is in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Textile and Chemistry.
