Ashis Mohanty is a seasoned mechanical maintenance professional with extensive experience in the mining and steel industries. Currently serving as Deputy Manager Maintenance at Konkola Copper Mines plc since September 2012, Ashis is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities for a 4.4 MTPA concentrator and a wide range of equipment, including crushers, conveyors, mills, and flotation systems. Key achievements include driving preventive maintenance programs, conducting root cause analysis to minimize breakdowns, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Prior roles include Senior Engineer Mechanical-Maintenance at Bhushan Steel & Strips Ltd., where Ashis managed maintenance operations for kilns and hydraulics systems, and a series of positions in mechanical maintenance across various organizations such as VISA Steel Limited and Aarti Steels Ltd.
