Derek Sherwin serves as Managing Director for both Tencate Advanced Armour and Integris Composites since January 2013, overseeing operations related to lightweight ballistic protection solutions and technical solutions for aircraft, vehicle, and personal protection. Previously, Derek held roles such as Managing Director and Director of Operations at AptarGroup, Inc., and served as European Operations Director and General Manager at Scapa. Derek's extensive experience in manufacturing and operations spans various sectors, including aerospace, automotive, and pharmaceuticals, complemented by an MBA from Bournemouth University. Derek's career began as a CNC Mechanical Engineer at Blenkins Precision Engineering after completing a City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering.
