Siyao Gu has been working in the finance industry since 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Analyst at Northeast Securities Co., Ltd. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota. In 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at Optimal Solution Inc. In 2017, they worked as a Summer Quantitative Analyst at XLP Capital. In 2018, they worked as a Quantitative Analyst at XLP Capital. Currently, they are working as an Operations Research Analyst at Koning Corporation.

Siyao Gu obtained a Bachelor of Finance, General from Sichuan University between 2012 and 2016. Siyao then received a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Minnesota between 2014 and 2016. In 2016, they completed their Master of Engineering in Operation Research and Information Engineering from Cornell University.
