Elena Ceseracciu has a diverse range of work experience. Elena is currently working as a Software Engineer at Kong Inc. since 2022. Before that, they had a role as a Solutions Developer at Engineering Ingegneria Informatica Spa from 2019 to 2022, where they managed and implemented eHealth projects. Prior to that, they worked as an R&D Engineer at Inventis - Audiology Equipment from 2017 to 2019, where they developed software and migrated projects. Elena also has experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Padova from 2014 to 2017, where they developed EMG-informed neuromusculoskeletal models. Elena also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IIT - Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia from 2012 to 2014, focusing on robot learning. Lastly, they held a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Università degli Studi di Padova in 2011, where they worked on neural network modeling and classification of locomotion modes.

Elena Ceseracciu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, which they obtained from the Università degli Studi di Padova from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in the same field at the same university from 2005 to 2007. Elena'seducation journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General, also at the Università degli Studi di Padova, from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, Elena Ceseracciu earned a RU101 Certificate from Redis University in May 2019.
