Hannu Oja is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the field of technology and management. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology at Konecranes since June 2006, Oja previously held the position of Director of Port Technology within the same company. Prior to Konecranes, Oja worked as Chief Engineer for Container Cranes at KCI Special Cranes Corp. and held various roles, including R&D Manager and R&D Engineer, at KCI Konecranes International Plc. Oja's early career included positions as Managing Director at Laserplus Oy and ProLaser, as well as Gear Factory Manager and R&D Engineer at KONE Corporation. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Product Development and an MSc in Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Science in Production Technology from Riihimäki Polytechnic.
