Claude Asselin began their work experience in 1999 as an Area Manager at Hyster Yale. Claude then moved on to become the General Manager - Central at Wajax Industries Ltd from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Branch Manager at Ontrac Nortrax - John Deere. In 2008, they joined Konecranes as the General Manager - VP Operations. Finally, they became the VP - Latin America at Konecranes Americas in 2015 and is currently responsible for the successful operations in Latin America for all units.

Claude Asselin attended Petit Seminaire de Quebec where they obtained a CEGEP degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Later, they pursued a field of study in Business/Managerial Economics at Université Laval from 1988 to 1991.
