Anders Svensson currently serves as the President and CEO of Konecranes, a global leader in material handling solutions since October 2022. In addition, Anders holds a Board Member position at Teknologiateollisuus - Technology Industries of Finland. Previously, Anders was with Sandvik from September 2008 to October 2022, where roles included President of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions and President of the Crushing and Screening Division. Anders also acted as the SVP Sales at Sandvik Construction and held various leadership positions responsible for global sourcing and customer services within the Sandvik group. Career beginnings included roles at Metso and Svedala Industri, along with research work at the University of New South Wales. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Process Design and Chemical Engineering from Lund University and the University of New South Wales, along with an MBA from Henley Business School and a management and leadership program from IMD.
