Pertti Makinen has extensive experience in technical support and engineering, currently serving as Technical Field Support Manager at KONE since August 2007, following roles as Sr. Global Field Support Engineer and System Integration Expert, among others, focusing on system integration support and R&D consultancy. Prior experience includes a tenure at GE Healthcare as Technical Product Manager, where Pertti provided technical support and training for Mammography X-ray systems, and earlier roles at Konecranes and NP Engineering, specializing in automation design. Pertti began a career in education as a Technical Trainer for IT and electronics. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automation Technology from Helsinki Institute of Technology and another Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Measurement and Control Technology from Jyväskylä Institute of Technology.
