Icha R. started their work experience in 2007 as a Freelance Researcher at Kompas Gramedia Group of Printing. Icha worked in this role from July 2007 to August 2009. Later in October 2009, they joined Kompas.com as a Journalist and has been working there ever since.

Icha R. attended the University of Indonesia from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in communication science.
