Neil Johnson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development within the heavy equipment industry. Currently serving as Senior Test Development Manager at Komatsu America Corp. since December 2014, Neil manages test operations focused on evaluating newly developed electric drive mining trucks and enhancing the reliability of current models. Previous roles include Chief Engineer at Komatsu Arizona Proving Grounds and Senior Project Engineer at Komatsu America Corporation, where responsibilities included performance and structural testing for various products. Neil’s career began at Komatsu UK Ltd. as Senior Development Engineer, specializing in hydraulic excavators, and includes an early role as Industrial Engineer at Valeo. Neil holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University.
