Simon Hwijun Kim is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as a Principal R&D Engineer at Koh Young Technology, Inc. since September 2017. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions at Koh Young, including Senior R&D Engineer. Simon's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Research Engineer at Samsung S1 from May 2012 to September 2017 and as a Research Engineer at SNUPrecision from August 2007 to July 2010. Simon began a career in academia at Seoul National University, contributing as an Editorial team member for the Mechanical and Aerospace Reporters (MARS) and as a Teaching Assistant in Manufacturing Processes, alongside research work at the Institute of Advanced Machinery and Design. Simon's technical journey commenced as a Web Developer at Mduction from April 2003 to December 2004. Academically, Simon holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University.
