Akanksha Sharan has been in the professional workforce for over 13 years. In 2007, they began their career as a Catering Sales Executive at The Taj Mahal Palace and Towers. Akanksha then moved on to become a Public Relation Officer at The Citizens Foundation in 2009. In 2011, they joined AB MAURI INDIA PVT LTD as a Key Accounts Executive. In 2012, they were a Key Accounts Manager at Franchise India Holdings Limited. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Franchise Manager at IIBM Group of Institution. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Divisional Manager at Wonderchef Home Appliances Pvt Ltd. In 2019, they were a Business Development Manager at FlexiBees. From 2020 to 2021, they were an HR Manager and HR Recruiter at Tripock Labs. Currently, they are a Talent Acquisition Manager at Kodo Card.

Akanksha Sharan obtained their Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Apeejay Institute of Technology School of Management in the field of Marketing/ HR between 2010 and 2012. Akanksha also attended St Joseph Convent High School and Swiss Hotel Management School. In December 2019, they obtained a certification from Google titled 'The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing'.
