Mina Bayraktar currently serves as a Medical Assistant at GLAUCOMA AND CATARACT ASSOCIATES OF NORTH CAROLINA, PC, where responsibilities include preparing patients for visits and performing administrative duties. Since January 2023, Mina has also been a Research Assistant at Frohlich Lab, executing complex neuroscience techniques and recruiting participants for a major depressive disorder treatment study. Additionally, Mina co-founded Pink STREAM, an organization focused on empowering minority girls in STEM through educational initiatives. Previous experience includes a role as a Teacher Assistant at Kumon North America, Inc., where support was provided to K-12 students in math and reading. Mina is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, expected to graduate in May 2025.
