Kara Toma has a range of work experience in the hospitality industry. Kara is currently working at Koddi as a Senior Account Manager since June 2022. Prior to that, they were an Account Manager at Koddi from September 2021 to June 2022. Before joining Koddi, they worked at Hilton as a Revenue Specialist from April 2019 to September 2021. Kara also has experience at Hyatt Regency Chicago, where they held various roles including Guest Experience Manager from February 2018 to April 2019, Assistant Executive Housekeeper from November 2016 to February 2018, and Corporate Management Trainee from June 2016 to November 2016. Kara also worked at Hyatt Hotels Corporation as a Campus Ambassador from August 2015 to June 2016. Additionally, they gained experience as a Corporate Rooms Intern at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa from May 2015 to August 2015, and as a Front Office Associate at Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center from April 2014 to October 2014.

Kara Toma earned their Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they obtained the Cvent certification from Cvent in November 2014.
