Vince Prevost

Senior Director, Platform Engineering at Kochava

Vince Prevost has a diverse and extensive work experience. Vince started their career in 1992 as a Software Developer at CSEE, where they were involved in developing an Expert System for PBX design and configuration. Vince then moved on to Adecco Canada, where they worked as an IT Manager, overseeing various projects such as payroll and invoicing systems, applicant and client management systems, and the transfer of back-office operations.

In 1997, Vince became the President of Information Systems Design & AI Ltd, a consulting company specializing in database and custom software development. Vince focused on customer needs and collaborated with start-ups and small to medium-sized businesses. During their tenure, they developed web-based SAS solutions for the retail sector, including inventory control and accounting systems.

From 1998 to 2001, Vince worked at Adecco Canada again, this time as the Manager of System Services. Vince supported hardware and software, including mission-critical applications, mainframes, and desktops. Vince also served as a system administrator for the RS/6000 systems.

In 2010, Vince joined InferSystems Corporation as the Chief Technology Officer. Vince played a key role in building the technology around the company's algorithms, specifically non-parametric statistics for predicting rare events.

Currently, Vince is working at Kochava since 2015. Vince started as the Director of Optimization, responsible for cross-network attribution tracking, post-install analytics, and user re-engagement push notifications. In June 2021, they transitioned to the role of Director of Software Engineering.

Overall, Vince Prevost has demonstrated expertise in software development, IT management, consulting, and building predictive analytics systems.

Vince Prevost obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Finances from IUT Lille, France, in 1989. Vince then pursued their education at EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique, where they earned a Master's degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from 1989 to 1992.
