Britta Reierson, MD, FAAFP, is a seasoned medical professional specializing in family medicine and obesity medicine. Currently serving as the Medical Director - Central at knownwell since June 2024, Britta previously held the position of Senior Medical Director at Optum, overseeing primary care and obesity medicine programs from January 2021 to May 2024. Britta also contributed as a member of the NAWHC Medical Director Council and served as Clinical Medical Director for Onsite Clinics at HealthPartners. Additionally, Britta spent 18 years at Park Nicollet Health Services as Corporate Clinical Medical Director and Medical Director/Adviser for Target Corporation. Academically, Britta earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed residency training at the University of Minnesota St. John's Residency Program, following a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Gustavus Adolphus College.
