Bryon Perry began their work experience in 2006 as the General Manager of Water Quality at the Development Authority of the North Country, a position they held until 2012. In 2012, they moved on to become the Director of Operations at Knowlton Technologies, LLC.

Bryon Perry attended Jefferson Community College in Watertown, New York from 1980 to 1982, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Math Science. Bryon then went on to study at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry from 1982 to 1984. At the college, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Paper Science and Engineering.
