Emily Esten is a skilled professional currently serving as a Customer Success Manager and Project Lead at Knowledge Futures since December 2022. In addition to this role, Emily is a Course Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania, co-teaching the Dream Lab course "Advocating for Community: Data Collection and Visualization" for multiple summer sessions from 2022 to 2024. Previously, Emily held various positions at Penn Libraries, including Curator of Digital Humanities and Judaica Digital Humanities Coordinator, and also worked as a Researcher for the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center and Freedom For All Massachusetts. Emily's extensive experience includes research and digital projects roles at Brown University and a Digital Humanities Fellowship at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate. Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Public Humanities from Brown University and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Digital Humanities from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
