Tom Kadesch is an experienced Electro Mechanical Engineer currently working at Knorr-Bremse since November 2014, specializing in the electro-mechanical packaging of braking, HVAC, and door systems for rail transit using Pro/Engineer 3D modeling software. Prior to this role, Tom served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at DRS Technologies, where the focus was on designing internal components for signal intercept radios and conducting thermal analysis and vibration testing to meet MIL-STD-810 standards. Earlier experience includes a position as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Fairchild Controls, designing motor controller electronics for aircraft and ground vehicles, and serving as an Engineer in Commercial Energy Services at Potomac Electric Power Co. Tom holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
