Fábio Amaral has been working in the medical field since 2009. Fábio began their career as a Researcher at Columbia University in the City of New York. In 2015, they became a Medical Doctor at Hospital Sousa Martins - ULS Guarda. Fábio then worked as a Medical Doctor at Centro Hospitalar de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro E.P.E., Trofa Saúde, and Hospital de Braga, E.P.E. In 2016. In 2021, they took on the roles of Medical Doctor and Medical Coordinator at Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa - Delegação de Braga and INEM, respectively. In 2022, they began working as a Medical Doctor at knokcare and LusÃadas Saúde, as well as Centro Hospitalar São João.
Fábio Amaral obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Universidade do Minho in 2014, after studying Medicine from 2004 to 2014. Fábio then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Columbia University in 2013, where they studied Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they have obtained certifications from the American Academy of Pediatrics for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) in October 2020, from the American Heart Association for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) in September 2017, and from Duolingo for German Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) in January 2016.
