Faisal Ahmed is the Co-Founder and CTO of Knockri. Faisal has over eight years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in enterprise application integration and data management software.

Ahmed began their career as a software engineer at Sony India Software Centre, where they worked on enterprise application integration in the webMethods/B2B space. Faisal was part of a team that implemented a large-scale enhancement project of Sony’s IT infrastructure.

In 2015, Ahmed transitioned to IT consulting, first with Core Analytx Inc. and then with CPPIB. At Core Analytx, they were responsible for providing comprehensive support to a suite of Data Management Software at a leading investment board in Toronto. The application suite included CADIS, IBM Datastage, Tidal and other in-house JAVA apps. In addition, Ahmed did development & enhancements of analytical solutions which were part of the CoreAnalytx application suite.

In 2016, Ahmed co-founded Knockri, a startup that uses AI to identify high-potential job candidates. Knockri’s mission is to level the playing field for job seekers from underrepresented groups.

Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.

Faisal Ahmed completed a Master of Information at the University of Toronto in Information Systems and Design. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institue of Engineering in Mysore.
