Bas Vis is an experienced content director currently working at KNMV since September 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing content strategy. Previous roles include serving as an online video editor for RTL Nieuws from October 2016 to August 2018, and as a reporter and editor for RTV Drenthe between January 2014 and October 2016. Additionally, Bas Vis worked at NOS Jeugdjournaal from September 2010 to October 2014 in similar reporting and editorial capacities. Academically, Bas Vis holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in History and Journalism from the University of Groningen, along with VWO qualifications from Koningin Wilhelminaschool, Luzac, and RSG Tromp Meesters Steenwijk.
