Alan Shih

Director of Product Marketing & Application at Kneron

Alan Shih has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2005. Alan began their career at Novogo Inc. as a Sales Manager in 2005, where they promoted and marketed the company's GPS Car Navigator in European countries. In 2007, they moved to ASUS as a Product Manager, where they managed the Smartphone & GPS Navigator projects, and coordinated supportive departments for successful product launches. In 2010, they joined TSEC Corporation as a Senior Sales Manager, and contributed to the company's IPO approval in 2014. During their time there, they developed sales channels in Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, and worked with international solar players to sign long-term alliance agreements. In 2014, they returned to ASUS as an Associate Director, where they acted as a major contact window between ASUS and Google, and developed new business opportunities. In 2015, they joined eCloudvalley Digital Technology as Sales Director, and set up a new technology business unit. Alan identified biometrics, AI, and cloud applications as major categories to generate business growth, and sourced and evaluated partners to form long-term partnerships. Finally, in 2017, they began working at Kneron as Director of Product Marketing & Application. Alan engaged with chip, module, and system customers to promote Kneron AI SW, IP, and chip solutions, and won a SW translator business from Sogou (China) and supported Sogou to win smartphone maker VIVO's case.

Alan Shih obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from National Taiwan University in 2003, where they studied Graduate Institute of Business Administration. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2001. In 2020, Alan Shih obtained two certifications from Coursera, "Python Data Structure" from the University of Michigan in April, and "Programming for Everybody" from the University of Michigan in March.
