Application Technical Support Engineer at Kneat

Stephen Smith has been working in the technology industry since 2001. Stephen began their career as a Call Centre Operator at ATS Euromaster, followed by a role as a Cheque Centre Clerk at RBS / National Westminster Bank. In 2002, they took on a role as a General Operator at KOSTAL Group. In 2014, Stephen undertook an internship at Institute of Technology, Tralee as part of the Web Services Department. Stephen also took part in the New Frontiers Entrepreneur Development Programme (Phase 1 & 2) as a Candidate. During this time, they were self-employed as a Web Programmer for Blasket Island Ferry Website. In 2016, Stephen worked as a Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) at Dell. Stephen then moved to Redflex as an Application Support Specialist, where their duties included providing onsite support and guidance to the users of the application. In 2022, Stephen began working as an Application Technical Support Engineer at Kneat Solutions.

Stephen Smith obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computers with Multimedia from Munster Technological University in 2014. Prior to this, they attended St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. School from 1993 to 1998. In addition, Stephen has obtained a Certificate in Development Operations Level 8 from Munster Technological University in June 2021 and a Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in September 2020.
