Sowmyashree R has been working in the software engineering industry since 2012. Her first job was as a Graduate Trainee at Silent Flute Software Ltd, where they worked in manual testing and automation. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Prime Focus Technologies. During this period, they also worked at Clinical Trial Endpoint (CTEP) as a Software Test Engineer, where they worked on SQL and manual testing for patient data recorded on web applications. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at BD as a Senior Software Test Engineer and a Software Test Engineer III, where they were exposed to medical device and diagnostic equipment. Currently, they are a Senior QC Test Engineer at Kneat Solutions, where they are involved in planning, developing, and maintaining feature files, as well as performing and monitoring manual and automation tests.

Sowmyashree R completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from B G S Inst., of Technology, Mandya Dist in 2012. Sowmyashree then went on to pursue a Master of Technology in Computer Science from Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering, Bangalore, which they completed in 2015. In 2017, Sowmyashree R obtained a Master of Engineering in Information and Network Security from the University of Limerick. Additionally, Sowmyashree R has obtained certifications in Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional, ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level, ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level - Extension, Agile Tester, Selenium Automation Testing, QTP Automation Testing, ISTQB Certified Tester - Advance Tester, and Manual Testing from various institutions.
