Jorrit Steehouder is an Assistant Professor and Lecturer in the History of International Relations at Universiteit Utrecht, where activities have included coordinating an interdisciplinary team for the Utrecht Counter-Extremism Project and completing a PhD thesis on the early years of European integration. In addition, Jorrit serves as a Faces of Science blogger for KNAW and holds board secretary positions for the Foundation Dare to be Grey and NGIZ. Previous experiences include working in civil affairs for Aethon and holding various roles in student and part-time positions. Jorrit's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Relations and a Bachelor's degree in History from Utrecht University.
