Jim De La Vega is a seasoned news professional with extensive experience in broadcasting and authorship. Since April 2008, Jim has served as a News Anchor and Weather Forecaster at FOX26 & CW59 (KMPH/KFRE). Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Anchor and News Director at KMTR NewsSource 16 from July 1998 to October 2000. Additionally, Jim has been an accomplished Book Author with Penguin Random House since February 2001. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Georgia College & State University.
