Juan Carlos Castaneda has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on coiled tubing operations. Juan Carlos started their career as a Field Engineer at BJ Services in 2000, where they wrote technical proposals and executed jobs in the field. Juan Carlos then worked at Baker Hughes as a District Technical Supervisor, Region Engineer, and Senior Field Service Coordinator, overseeing coiled tubing operations in various districts. At Pioneer Energy Services, they served as a Manager and Coiled Tubing Engineer, managing multiple coiled tubing districts and operations. Juan Carlos also gained experience as a Technical Sales Engineer at Nitro Fluids, analyzing the local business and promoting new technology. Most recently, they worked at Gladiator Energy as a District Engineer and is currently employed at KLX Energy Services as a District Coiled Tubing Engineer, where they consult with operator representatives and develops standard operating practices. Juan Carlos has a strong background in coiled tubing and has worked on a range of projects, including land to offshore and low pressure to high pressure operations.
Juan Carlos Castaneda completed their high school education at Simon Rivera High School from 1992 to 1995. Juan Carlos earned a High School Diploma with a focus on Engineering during this time. Following this, Juan Carlos pursued further education at Texas A&M University-Kingsville from 1995 to 2000. Juan Carlos obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the university.
