Melanie Mendez Gonzales is a versatile professional with extensive experience in media, content creation, and social media marketing. Currently serving as the host of ¡SALUD! at KLRN since June 2022, Melanie also owns and creates content for ¿Qué Means What?, a platform that explores Latino identity through education and entertainment, which has been active since December 2010. Additionally, Melanie has worked as a freelance Social Media & Influencer Marketing Specialist since July 2010, formulating strategies to engage target communities for various brands. Previous roles include serving as an Executive Assistant at PfitzPR, a Retail Sales Merchandiser for The Hershey Company, and an Executive Leader at Target, showcasing a strong foundation in project coordination, retail management, and team leadership. Melanie holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Texas State University and has furthered education at Universitas Castellae and Austin Community College.
