Stephen Miller began their work experience at Marshall Institute in 2001 as a Business Unit Manager, Project Manager, and Consultant. Stephen worked in this role until 2016. In 2016, they joined Cohesive as a Senior Business Process Consultant and later took on additional roles such as Maximo APM Practice Lead, Consulting Practice Lead for Oil & Gas/Energy, and Principal Consultant. In 2023, they joined KloudGin as a Solution Architect and was promoted to Director of Solution Engineering later that year.

Stephen Miller attended North Carolina State University from 2001 to 2005. However, no information is available regarding the degree or field of study they pursued during their time at the university. In addition to their university education, Stephen Miller obtained several certifications. In 2017, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com. In 2016, they became an IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Asset Management v7.6 Functional Analyst after completing the program offered by IBM. Finally, in 2018, they obtained the Certified Reliability Leader® (CRL) Certification from the Association of Asset Management Professionals.
