Dr. med. Nico Matzkeit, MHBA, currently serves as Oberarzt at Klinikum Westfalen GmbH since July 2022, specializing in Plastische und Ästhetische Chirurgie. Prior experience includes roles as Assistenzarzt in Plastische Chirurgie and Assistenzarzt in Chirurgie at Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein from August 2017 to June 2022, and a clinical fellowship at Akademikliniken in February 2021. Dr. Matzkeit is furthering education with a Master of Health Business Administration at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg until September 2023 and is pursuing a state examination in Plastische Chirurgie at Universität zu Lübeck since 2010. Earlier education includes training as Gesundheits-und Krankenpfleger at Berufsschulzentrum Nord from 2005 to 2008 and a program at the University of Cape Town from 2016 to 2017.
