Calvin Ung is a highly skilled civil and geotechnical engineer with a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from California State University Long Beach. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Kling Consulting Group since February 2024, Calvin previously held the position of Staff Engineer at GMU, focusing on slope stability analyses, CAD design, and engineering proposals. Early experiences include a Civil Engineering Internship at AECOM, where Calvin specialized in geotechnical projects involving dams and hydropower, and serving as a Teaching Assistant at UCLA for Principles of Soil Mechanics. Calvin has also held leadership roles in esteemed engineering honor societies such as Tau Beta Pi and Chi Epsilon, and captained the GeoWall team for the American Society of Civil Engineers, demonstrating strong technical and organizational skills in engineering education and competitive environments.
