Longtong Dafyak, PhD, is an experienced engineer specializing in digital transformation and innovation with a focus on applying AI in energy and manufacturing. Currently serving as an Engineer at Wood since July 2022, Longtong utilizes reinforcement learning, machine teaching, and data engineering to create digital solutions. As the Hydrogen and Biogas community lead at KlimateNet, Longtong plays a pivotal role in fostering initiatives in sustainable energy. Longtong's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and a Master's in Petroleum Engineering and Project Development from IFP School. Additionally, Longtong has participated in the IRENA Student Leaders Programme, gaining expertise in renewable energy technologies, policies for energy transition, and project planning. Previous roles include positions at organizations such as Morgan Green Limited, Bingham University, and NASCO Group.
