Robert Gerlach has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Robert is the CEO and Co-Founder of Klim, where they aim to scale up regenerative agriculture and promote food security. Robert is also the Founder of Threebility, a company that develops tools for sustainable product and business model innovation. As a Guest Lecturer, they have taught sustainable product and business model innovation at ESCP Business School and Steinbeis School of Management and Innovation.

Robert's experience also includes working as the VP of Product and Partner Management at Vivy - Your Digital Health Companion, where they played a key role in the company's growth and product launch. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Robert worked as an R&D Project Coordinator at the Impact Engineering Laboratory, managing emission-reduction and safety-related projects for clients such as Rolls-Royce, Mitsubishi, and BMW. Robert started their career at Rolls-Royce as a Research Engineer, leading an R&D project on environmentally friendly aircraft turbines.

Robert Gerlach also has teaching experience at the University of Oxford. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in sustainable innovation, entrepreneurship, and product management across various industries.

Robert Gerlach has a diverse education history. Robert completed their Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they attended Saïd Business School, also at the University of Oxford, in the year 2010-2011 to study "Building a Business," although no degree name was mentioned. Prior to their time at Oxford, Robert Gerlach attended Technische Universität Dresden from 2000 to 2006, where they obtained a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
