Rick Muir, FCCA, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Rick currently holds the position of Co-Founder and CFO at Kleanbus Limited, where they are responsible for developing a retrofit program that allows fleet operators to electrify public transport. Prior to this, they were the Head of FP&A at moneycorp and a Senior Finance Consultant/Interim Head of FP&A at McGill and Partners. Rick Muir also gained valuable experience at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), where they served as the Finance COO and Corporate Finance Consultant. Rick previously held the role of Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at Compagnie Financiere Tradition and Financial Controller - VP level at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB. Rick Muir's early career includes working as a European Financial Analyst at Standard & Poor's.
Rick Muir attended Caldicott from 1987 to 1992 for their early education. Rick then went on to Oundle School from 1992 to 1997, where they studied Maths, French, and Economics. In 1999, they enrolled at The Manchester Metropolitan University and completed a BA (Hons) in Business Enterprise between 1999 and 2002. Rick Muir obtained their FCCA certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2004. Rick later pursued further education at The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) in 2010 and earned an IAQ degree in Investments and Securities.
