Andrea Ferraz has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Andrea started their career at Indra in 2006 as a Flight Simulation Intern. In 2008, they joined Morgan Stanley as a Telecoms and Media M&A Analyst before transitioning to the role of Leisure and Hotels Equity Research Analyst in 2010. Andrea then became the Head of European Internet Equity Research, Executive Director in 2014, where they provided investment advice on internet companies to institutional investors. Andrea'sresponsibilities included covering companies such as Naspers, Zalando, ASOS, Boohoo, Yoox Net A Porter, Ocado, and Just Eat, among others.
In 2019, Andrea Ferraz joined Klarna, initially as the Accountable Lead for a new product launch. Andrea later became the Head of Strategic Financial Planning in August 2020. In 2021, they took on the role of Head of M&A, where they successfully acquired 10 companies and 3 investments within a 14-month period. Additionally, they contributed to raising USD 1.5 billion through equity capital raising processes. Currently, Andrea holds the position of Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Development at Klarna, overseeing global investor relations, M&A, strategic partnerships, and capital raising efforts.
Andrea Ferraz completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2004 to 2008. Andrea then pursued further education at the CFA Institute, where they attained a Chartered Financial Analyst degree from 2011 to 2012. Unfortunately, the field of study for their CFA degree was not provided.
