Alexandra Colac has a diverse work experience in the field of sustainability and business development. In their current role as Lead Sustainability and Business Development at Klarna, they are responsible for driving sustainability initiatives within the company. Before joining Klarna, Alexandra worked at Zalando SE where they held various roles, including Manager Ethical Responsibility, Manager Ethical Trade & Sustainability, and Junior Manager Ethical Trade. In these positions, they developed and implemented sustainability assessment frameworks, led factory improvement programs, and managed ethical trade programs. Prior to Zalando SE, Alexandra worked as an Environmental and Social Compliance Manager at Newtimes Group of Companies, where they ensured compliance conditions of manufacturers in Asia. Alexandra also worked as a Sourcing and Supply Chain Specialist at Promidea Group, responsible for sourcing new suppliers and negotiating commercial conditions. Alexandra began their career as a Buyer Assistant at REWE Group, where they implemented EDI systems and analyzed sales and product performance.
Alexandra Colac's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at the Academia de Studii Economice din București. Alexandra completed their Bachelor's degree in International Business and Economics in 2012. Following this, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master's degree in International Business Management from the same institution, successfully completing it in 2014. In 2020, Alexandra briefly attended the University of Cambridge, focusing on Business Sustainability Management.
