Alessandro d'Este has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. Alessandro started their career at Arcua srl as a Partner, where they managed customers, designed and developed software, and handled project management. Alessandro then worked at Ambiente.it as a Software Development Contractor, where they mainly developed with SAP BO SDK and also served as a project manager.

After that, Alessandro worked at Hospital Engineering as a Software Development Contractor. Alessandro then transitioned to B&B di Baracco Rita & C. sas as a Software Development Consultant/Contractor, where they were responsible for analysis, development, and project management. During this time, they created the product BIL-X and BIL-X Cloud, which is currently used by several holding companies.

Next, Alessandro joined Lynx S.p.A. as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead. After that, they worked as a Software Development Consultant/Contractor in a freelance capacity, handling development and consulting on multiple projects. Their main technologies during this period included AngularJS, React, Bootstrap, node.js, C#, and WPF.

In 2015, Alessandro joined THRON as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead. Alessandro was later promoted to Team Leader and Architect in the frontend team. Their responsibilities included leading the frontend team, interacting with stakeholders, and arranging priorities based on deadlines. Alessandro primarily used JavaScript and knockout.js during this time.

Alessandro then moved to Accenture, where they held multiple roles. Alessandro started as a Software Developer Specialist, leading frontend teams on various projects and contributing to the creation of innovative solutions. Alessandro then became an Associate Engineering Manager, working on the Accenture Logistic Platform project and enhancing collaboration between cross-functional teams. Finally, they served as an Engineering Manager at Accenture The Dock, leading multiple projects, enhancing collaboration, and mentoring team members. Their main technologies at Accenture included JavaScript, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Vue.js, and node.js.

Their most recent work experience is at Capgemini, where they started as a Managing Consultant. In this role, they worked for a leading insurance company in Italy, focusing on solutions architecture and migration from monolith applications to microservices. Alessandro also worked as an Engineering Manager/Project Manager for projects related to Smart Process Automation. Some of the main technologies they used at Capgemini include Java, Python, Docker, and various Google Cloud services.

Currently, Alessandro d'Este is working at Klarna as an Engineering Manager.

Alessandro d'Este completed their primary school education at Mameli from 1993 to 1995. After that, they pursued a degree in Ragioneria con indirizzo Programmatore at ITCS "A. Gramsci" in Padova, which they completed between 1996 and 2002. Later, they attended Università degli Studi di Padova, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Social Science from 2008 to 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Alessandro d'Este obtained a Development Consultant SAP Business One 2007 certification from SAP Education in Energy Park, Milan in February 2010. Alessandro also completed various online courses on Coursera, including Introduction to Software Product Management, Software Processes and Agile Practices, Client Needs and Software Requirements, Reviews & Metrics for Software Improvements, Agile Planning for Software Products, Software Product Management Specialization, and Software Product Management Capstone. The completion dates for these courses range from November 2015 to August 2021.
