Sara Foutz-Harlor has a wealth of work experience. Sara began their career in 2005 as a Property and Financial Manager at Floyd Enterprises, Inc. and Westlake Partners, LLC and as an ARMY / MWR Unit Funds Manager / Budget Technician at the United States Department of Defense. In 2008, they became a Technology Support Specialist at Dish Network. In 2009, they joined Member One Federal Credit Union as an E-Services Specialist and Project Lead and a Member Service Representative. From 2013 to 2022, they worked at Carilion Clinic as an IT Continual Service Improvement Lead, a Process Improvement, Metrics and Jr. Project Manager, and an Application Analyst, Technology Service Group. In 2022, they joined KlariVis as a Business Intelligence Analyst and CloudFit Software as a Senior Business Analyst, Finance.

Sara Foutz-Harlor has a long and varied educational history. Sara obtained their Honors Diploma from EC Glass High School in 1995-1999. Sara then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from Emory & Henry College in 1999-2001 and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Lynchburg in 2003-2007. In 2014, they took a Project Management course at Virginia Western Community College and in 2019 they obtained a Leadership Certificate Program in Organizational Change Management from Cornell University. Sara has also obtained various certifications such as an ITIL4 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2020, a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in 2019, a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in 2019, an HDI Support Center Analyst from HDI in 2014, CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in 2015, and a Six Sigma White Belt Certified from Aveta Business Institute.
