Thiago Campmany has been working in the tech industry since 2003. Thiago started their career as a Junior Full-Stack Developer at IDESA High School in 2003, where they built a custom CMS focused on usability, ease of expansion and photo gallery management. In 2006, they moved to VIRGOS as a Full Stack Developer, where they built a ticket management tool using PHP, HTML, CSS, and SQL. In 2007, they were a Developer at TEAR - Laboratório de Pesquisa e Inovação em Tecnologias e Estratégias de Automação, where they developed an industrial machine and established a documentation standard. In 2008, they joined IBM as a Physical DB2 Database Administrator (DBA) and later became a Senior Physical DB2 Database Administrator (DBA). In 2012, they moved to Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas as a Database Developer, where they were responsible for physical modeling, based on logical models, fulfilling functional and performance requirements. In 2014, they joined Itaú Unibanco as a Senior Mainframe DB2 Data Modeler, where they created a process to find the best maintenance window. In 2016, they moved to ICE as a Lead Developer and Backend Developer & Database Engineer, where they were responsible for several projects, driving them from the technical perspective. In 2020, they joined Klarna as a Lead Engineer, where they collaborated with the implementation of Database Reliability Engineering concepts. Thiago is currently working at Klara as a Staff Engineer since 2022.

Thiago Campmany received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UFSCar - Alumni in 2010, and a Computer Science (Technical) degree from Instituto de Ensino Santo Antônio (IDESA) in 2003.
