Georg Erley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in process integration, application development, and device engineering. Currently serving as Senior Expert in Process Integration at First Sensor AG since January 2020, Georg has previously held key roles including Principal at Qoniac GmbH, where expertise in lithography software development was demonstrated, and Researcher at Fraunhofer IPMS, focusing on microscanner devices. Additional experience includes positions as Development Engineer at Lonza Cologne AG and Staff Engineer at Qimonda, where responsibilities included litho process coordination and exposure tool management. Earlier in the career, Georg was Group Leader in Systems Engineering at IDE GmbH, specializing in active vibration isolation engineering for semiconductor applications, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCI, concentrating on the electrochemical synthesis of semiconductor nanocrystallites. Georg holds a PhD and Diploma in Physics from RWTH Aachen University.
