Elaine Quah

Senior Research Fellow at KK Women's & Children's Hospital

Elaine Quah is a highly accomplished researcher and educator currently serving as a Research Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and a Senior Research Fellow at KK Women's & Children's Hospital, where involvement in the Integrated Platform for Research in Advancing Metabolic Health Outcomes in Women and Children includes leading lifestyle intervention studies. Additionally, Elaine Quah is a part-time lecturer at the National Institute of Education, focusing on developing a Masters module in Physical Activity, Nutrition, and Health. Previously, significant roles included Senior Research Fellow at A*STAR, where leadership in statistical analysis and manuscript writing for the Growing In Singapore Toward Healthy Outcomes (GUSTO) study took place, and a decade-long experience at the National University of Singapore encompassing a Research Officer role and PhD candidacy in Allergy and Immunology. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Allergy and Immunology from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Monash University Malaysia.
