Beau Baumert has extensive work experience, with their most recent position being the Chief Operating Officer at K&K Inc. starting in August 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Northern Natural Gas for a considerable amount of time starting in May 2007. Beau held the role of Director of Pipeline Expansion and was responsible for leading project teams in executing various pipeline, compressor station, and storage facility projects. Their responsibilities included developing and executing project plans, tracking project metrics, and implementing corrective measures.

Beau Baumert holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, obtained between 2003 and 2007. Beau then pursued a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the same university, completing it between 2011 and 2013. In 2016, Beau obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Additionally, they have obtained the Professional Engineer certification from NCEES in 2012 and a Certificate of Completion in Developing Executive Leadership from the American Management Association in 2016.
