Santiago Hoyos began their professional career in 2009 as a Low Voltage Technician at Jade Communications. In 2010, they worked as a Lab Monitor at Full Sail University. In 2011, they worked as an Environment/Prop Artist as a freelancer. In 2013, they worked as a QA Tester at Microsoft and a Contract 3D Artist at Synergy Blue. Their role at Synergy Blue included modeling and texturing environmental assets and characters for casino gaming, creating art for user interface, and assisting with rigging and skinning. In 2014, Santiago Hoyos began working at KIXEYE as an Art Director. In this role, they developed budgets and pipelines against tight deadlines across multiple live projects, worked with the Executive and Marketing team to ensure company goals were met, and led a team of over 20 artists in producing high-quality game and marketing assets.
Santiago Hoyos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Art from Full Sail University between 2010 and 2013.
