Christian Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. Christian started their career as a Research Assistant at Advanced Targeting Systems from April 2013 to June 2014. Christian then worked as a Research Assistant at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute from June 2015 to January 2016. Christian joined Illumina in February 2016 as a Process Engineering Technician 4 and was responsible for managing a cross-functional work team, validating and implementing new columns in the manufacturing process, and completing non-compliance reports. Christian worked there until July 2018. Currently, Christian is working at Kitu Systems, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they initially started as a Software Engineer Intern from October 2018 to December 2018. In December 2018, they transitioned to their current role, where they focus on redesigning Kitu's functional testing suite using Node.js modules and Cypress tests.

Christian Nguyen attended UC San Diego from 2011 to 2015 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In 2018, they attended LEARN Academy for a brief period to further their education in web development. No degree was obtained during their time at LEARN Academy.
