James Black is a Partner at IVP, a firm known for its extensive track record of empowering breakout companies to become market leaders, having facilitated over 130 IPOs. In addition to the role at IVP, James Black serves as an Investor and Board Observer at Kittl and Superhuman, as well as an Investor in multiple companies including Pigment, Hello Heart, Sorare, TaxBit, Productiv, and Aiven. James Black's experience also includes a position in Strategic Finance at Canva from 2018 to 2019. Academically, James Black holds a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Operations & Information Management from The Wharton School.
