Eza Gaigalas, EIT, currently serves as an Engineering Associate and Transportation Analyst at Kittelson & Associates, Inc. since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Roadway EIT and Roadway Engineering Intern at Jacobs from August 2021 to January 2023 and April 2021 to June 2021, respectively. Eza's background also encompasses positions as a Geotechnical Engineering Grader and Transportation Research Assistant at Cal Poly Civil & Environmental Engineering from June 2020 to March 2021, where data was collected on Advisory Bike Lanes and the Service Learning website was updated. As a member of the Cal Poly GeoWall Project team, significant achievements included placing 10th at the 2020 Nationals GeoWall competition and 2nd at the 2019 Pacific Southwest Conference. An Engineering Intern at Contra Costa County during the summer of 2019, contributions included designing 35% plans for the Bel Air Trail Crossing Project and updating the item price database. Eza holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, graduating in 2021.
